5th week of March 1969 was Monday the 31st.

So this body tag tells not only the week it was built but the very day it was built. (Or does the 5th week of March, 1969 also include Tuesday, April 1st through Friday, April 4th?)

If the Corvair body was completed on Monday, March 31, 1969, the Body Tag code would be 03E, with only one production day coded 03E. But if it was built on Tuesday, April 1, 1969 thru Friday, April 4, 1969 the Body Tag code would show 04A. (I don't know if production continued on weekends).

Thanks for info. My birthday is on the 31st. I was 12 years old when my car was built. That is so cool.
