EM DIY Roof rack.

I wanted an easily removable roof rack that I'll probably never use. I was going to order the clamps and all from NRS but they were out of stock. I found the same Clamps with cross bars on ebay although I don't think they are NRS. Next was to gather up a pallet. I learned that removing planks from a pallet without completely destroying them is a difficult process. My friend had a few planks of cedar laying around for the cross braces. The whole thing is coated in Danish oil and lightly torched. I wanted a rustic look to match the weathered look of the car. It worked out pretty well. No additional wind noise either. It was very easy to do and is probably strong enough for a pretty well loaded cooler. The NRS clamps are awesome and super quick removing.

Awesome, I had a similar setup for my snowboards. Probably still do somewhere.
