Chevrolet Accessory Clock Question

Hello All -

I was cleaning out the workshop of a family member, who was a Corvair owner when I was a kid. He actually introduced me to my life long goal of owning a Corvair. I found a Chevrolet Accessory Box (Green, Brown & Orange Lettering) with a part number 985329. Inside was a complete oval shaped clock that has all the original hardware and looks to been never installed.

I am fairly new to the Corvair hobby and was wondering if anyone had any background on the clock and if it has any value to vintage car owners today. It appears to work on any Chevrolet Vehicle with an included dash bracket, straps and fuse.

I would not want to install it in my Corvair since I have a fairly mint dash pad and could nit bring myself to drill holes. I would appreciate any feedback so I could find it a good home but also get fair value for it.

There is one on ebay now & the bid is at $152.50 & it says the clock does not work & it appears to be used.

Here is what I could find on that clock, which appears to be a part of the 1962-1963 Corvair "Comfort and Convenience Group" options — listed in the GM Heritage Center Specifications as a "Dealer Installed Accessory".

Also listed in the Clark's Corvair Parts online catalog NOS section as a seldom available item.
