High Desert CORSA Club Meeting

Post by Phil Dally »

This coming Saturday November 23rd is our next club meeting. We're starting at 9am at the Greenhouse Cafe in the Antelope Valley Mall. That is the same location as last month. After breakfast we're headed to the 4th Saturday Cruise wich starts at 11am this month.

During breakfast Dansk of Corvair Center Forum fame will be doing a head gasket tech session. Also this month Jerry is ready with all the info to become an official CORSA chapter if we chose to do that. An interesting fact is only fifty percent of the club members must be CORSA members.

The calender is shaping up as well. No meeting in December for the Holidays. Tentatively Saturday January 18th we are scheduled to tour the American Seed Company Plant in Santa Paula. Dave Palmer has graciously offered to set that up for FREE as he works there. Vairy interesting processes used in the harvesting and marketing of seeds. So have your cars ready for a driving event out Highway 126 that day.

Not on the calender yet but I have committed us as volunteers is a spring time autocross hosted by Ventura County Corvair Club on the tarmac at Camarillo Airport.

So come one come all, drive a Corvair, and tell every Corvairnut you know about this Saturdays club meeting.

See you then...PHIL (661) 433-3664

Great turn out despite the weather. Ten members present with two excused.

Corventure came all the way from Filmore and pitched the upcoming autocross.

Dansk did a killer Rampside latch and his new head gasket tech session.

Next time out is a driving event and Burpee seed plant tour on January 18th.

Forward Control windshield (3 of them) R&R tech sesion in February.

Thank you to everybody!!!! Terrible picture by the waitress but she was great.
