Registration is now OPEN! The Northeast Corvair Council invites you to a day of high-performance driving on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the New York Safety Track in Harpersfield, NY!

The event will consist of open track sessions, time trials and our famous "Taste of Track" option. The New York Safety track has plenty of twists and turns and elevation changes, plus a long straight-away.

HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVING WITH NECC AT
NEW JERSEY MOTORSPORTS PARK!

You may recall that we had to cancel our planned event at the New York Safety Track. Well, we've come up with something that's even better! On Monday, September 8, 2014, we'll be running a high performance driving event on the Thunderbolt circuit at New Jersey Motorsports Park! Full-bore HPDE - $229. Taste of the Track - $29.

Access to the facility starts at seven o'clock Sunday evening, September 7th, for trailer and car drop-off. Tech inspection will begin at 7 PM that day at the track. If at all possible, please bring your car to this tech inspection session. Tech will also be available on Monday morning.

We're always looking for volunteers to help out with timing. They'll like the A/C in the timing tower.

In regard to hotels, the nearby Holiday Inn Express provides good value for lodging. The price is around $100 per night. There are other commercial hotels in the area. The track also has 20 motel style rooms in a building that looks over the front stretch. The price is approximately $100 a night. The track also has suites that have three bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and a sitting area. They go for $400 per night; a reasonable price if three or more drivers share the same suite. Campsites are also available at the track. If you are interested in staying overnight at the track, call NJMP's Guest Services desk at (856) 327-7202.

When using a GPS to locate the track, use 8000 Dividing Springs Road in Millville as your destination. GPS does not recognize the Warbird Road address shown on the track’s web site. Just before the 800 Dividing Springs arrival is announced by the GPS turn right and the track entrance is ¼ mile on the right.
