My 1967 Corvair Monza Restored about 5 years ago. I did much of the work myself, except for paint. For a N.J. car, amazing to find no rust when media blasted.Took 1 1/2 years to restore. Repainted correct Bolero red paint. All trim replaced with NOS when I could find it. Otherwise repro parts. Front grill bar is NOS, as well as door sill plates, radio bezel, parking lights, and rear grill inserts (correct for Corsa, not Monza). Had the headlight bezels chromed. Rechromed both bumpers, shifter bezel, heater control trim, quarter window trim, rearview mirror mount, upper vent window castings, engine lid arm was also chromed. Most of the 110 engine parts were either chromed or rechromed, including valve covers, alternator, engine shroud, firewall, crossover tube and air cleaner. New carbs as well. All original interior, except for new carpet from Clark's Corvair. Removed exhaust system and installed Clark's ultimate exhaust. Replaced original steering wheel with the correct wood style from Grant steering wheels. Added front disc brakes and 14" American Racing Torque Thrust chrome wheels. I hand painted the Rat Fink face on the chrome oil filter cover. Only had one owner and 50,000 original miles. All manuals and protecto plate were with the car. Drives great, brings back great memories for me, and always turns heads.

Here is my 63 Panel, Betsy with 40,738 original miles. In the last year, I have put a lot of time, money, blood and sweat into her. 95% of the suspension is new, including swapping my 63 front suspension for a 64. The cross member has a notch in it so that I could eliminate the 63 shifter and linkage and replace it with a 64 floor shifter, linkage and a refinished holy tank. It was quite a bit of work but well worth it in my opinion.

In the past year,
All new fuel system, rebuilt carbs, lines, pump ect.
New tires, wheels and I think the only van with actual bullet center caps and not spiders
Cleaned and coated 64 holy tank from the ranch and straps
Used 64 Front cross member to use the 64 shifter that goes along with the holy tank
Used rear bench seat from the ranch
New plugs, wire, cap and rotor
New Brake pads, spring kits, cylinders, soft and hard lines and master cylinder
New upper and lower ball joints, bushings tie rods and sleeves
New shocks front and rear
New walker muffler
New cargo area carpet (5x7 rug cut to fit)
Retro fitted trailer license plate lights
Went through entire electrical system plus fixed Horn and Turn signals which didn't work
Plus all the misc. stuff, tools, oil, filter, brake fluid, nuts, bolts, fittings ect.

This year, I plan on either retrofitting a VW Van rack to the van or making my own. I also plan on either lowering it a another inch or two or just sucking it up and airbag it. Maybe some seat upholstery.

In April 2014, along with two friends we pulled her out of storage, not running, uninspected and no legal road miles since 1998.

Voting is enabled as soon as 10 vehicles have entered or at the beginning of the month if less than 10 enter. I'm sure admin Scott will enable the voting page soon and then you'll see the entrants listed at the top of the thread and you can pick your favorite.
