Re: Northeast Corvair Council
The Northeast Corvair Council ("NECC") conducts high-speed track events for Corvair owners and sports car enthusiasts. Visit our Announcements page for the latest information on our 2010 schedule!
Our history goes back to 1974, when we conducted time trials for Corvairs at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. But you don't need a Corvair to drive in our events.
Several years ago, we opened up our track events to all other makes of cars. Our starting grid includes not only Corvairs, but also Mazdas, Nissans, Porsches, Mustangs, Evos, Mini Coopers and more. At one event, we even had a race-prepared Yugo!
And so, you're invited to drive at our events, even if you don't bring your Corvair!
