I have an announcement!

Been here a while, but things have changed this past weekend! Let me introduce..... (drumroll please!) Not really. I'm not going for symmetry here, in fact the single line is intended to upset that balance.

Re: Silicone was on sale, or what ?

Only thing I use now anywhere on my engines is Hylomar; best stuff ever invented, but it's pricey.

Re: Turbo Setups? Help

Sounds like a 6BTM is what you're after, then. Make sure you tune it with a wideband, don't let it run lean.

Re: miniman82's build, by TLC Restorations

I don't think it would annoy me at all, it's basically like SS stripes only down one side.

Re: Turbo Setups? Help

Does your ignition do boost retard? Have you thought about using a crank trigger? It was the best upgrade I did to my turbo, by far. :tu:

Re: Time serts or Heli coil?

Try tapping it with grease and using a helicoil first, then if that doesn't work pull the head and it's time for the timesert (or another head).

You'll all be 'donating' to Uncle Sam to prop up these failed policies soon enough, mark my words. There's no such thing as a 'good' Progressive idea, if you need proof look at CA's economy.

Yes, Mike Hicks is whispering in his ear. :goodpost:

Did you catch your Progressive buddy Gavin Newsom on the O'Riley Factor the other day? Apparently, deficit spending doesn't bother him either. ::-):

Re: Thermostat bellows question..

Maybe the linkage is hung up on something, so it's causing undue stress on the fragile bellows? I've had the same 2 'stats from Clarks in my car now for 2 years, and they still work fine. Gotta be something wrong with your one side...

Re: miniman82's build, by TLC Restorations

Supposed to be the original color of Cypress Green, but it is about as close to BRG as you might see on a Corvair. No white stripes though. That help you out at all? Cool, I like! Got any different views of it? Then I could use MS Paint to draw a racing stripe up the side to see how it looks. :tu:
