Has anyone replaced insulation like material with corrugated card board in the package compartment? If you did what did you use? I insulated rear and floor with aluminum sided tar type material.

Re: 67-69 Wheel covers
I have original wheels and covers on Vair. But the wire wheel covers don't fit on. There are about 1 1/2 " deep.

67-69 Wheel covers
I bought a set of 4 wheel covers for my 65 Monza. But unfortunately they are for 67-69 Vair. Does anyone know what size rims fit the 67-69 Corvair. I have 13" but can't get covers on my rims.

Good luck with rehab, love the toggle switches. Could you tell me the tire and rim sizes on vair. I have wire hubs but don't know what tire and rims I need.

Wire wheel hubs
I know it was dumb, but I got excited to buy wire wheel hubs for my 65 Monza. But it turns out there 14" and I have 13" wheels. Is their a solution to this problem ? I've been told they will look good hanging on garage wall.

Re: Gas mileage
Thanks for info, I have the 2 carb. ,110 hp with power glide transmission . It was half highway and half city driving. I'm going to recheck the mileage again it seemed a little high. I just thought of this, I've removed rear and passenger seats for reupholstering. So car is lighter.

Reupholstered seats 65 Monza 4d
I'm just tooting my own horn but I just finished reupholstering my seats. Took them down to springs and restored them from there. Obviously never did this before but really enjoyed it.

Anyone aware of video for reupholstering vair bucket seats. I'm a visual learner, I have a couple of manuals but I do better watching. Thanks
