Re: Bolt pattern 1966

5-4.75 that is 5 lugs and 4.75 bolt circle. But then there is offset also. The best thing is to do a search on this site in the technical questions section.

Yeah read it. I posted that link already but didn't comment. Kyle is on this forum but hasn't been very active. I was hoping he would join in someone.

Re: Main well insert

After going round and round trying to figure out why I’m getting to much fuel I found that my main well insert is MIA. Clarks has them in their used catalog(which I don’t have). Does anyone know where I can order online ASAP? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Corvair Forum mobile app Is this what yo...

Re: Is this Corvair related?

If they are made of stainless steel, they may be from original factory hubcaps (someone might find them useful). I have a set of aftermarket wire wheel hubcaps for 13-inch wheels that came on a Corvair. The spokes and hubcaps are chrome plated. If anyone is looking for some, feel free to PM me. I w...

Is this Corvair related?

Does anyone know what these are? I received parts from an EBay bid I won. I have no idea what these metal loops are. Some are square ended and some are pointed. They are about 4" long with tips on the ends.

Thanks for any input.

Re: Condensers

The installation of a capacitor (condenser) on the ignition coil terminal and charging system serves to conduct and non-direct current (DC) noise components to ground, while blocking DC from being shorted to ground. This can effectively kill any whining or popping noise components that may exist in...

Re: Condensers

Must disagree with Ed Stevenson. AC current does not flow in this system, as long the diodes in the alternator work and older generators only produce DC current Sent from my iPhone using Corvair Forum mobile app Jerry sorry that I was not more precise. It is harmonic noise that is in the form of an...
