Re: Who's vair is a DD?
(don't drive it without the belt) Richard finch once wrote that corvairs are the most dependable car in the world. I am going to go out on a limb here and say i agree back in the day. they are just old now and as such they have elderly problems. But on the other hand oil has gotten better but gas ha...

crazy; Well they are out of touch...good way of describing it. But he offered 3K, he may have gone up to $4,500 but not likely. they were just to far apart so the negotiations stoped- remember?- so he would have gone higher. I'm sure of it. And keep in mind the name of the game is to make a profit s...

to start with those guys on that show aren't exactly my type but some girl comes in with a pretty strait and fairly original 60 (orange or red) and asks $10K. They clam its not worth it and offer her $3K. It had a tranny leak and "jumps out of gear" according to her. They didn't like that ...

Re: Parked on small grade and smoked
very true, Mountain Man! I guess it shouldn't bother me. I actually put some Marvel comics magic mystery oil in it a couple of days ago for kicks and grins and it still hasn't smoked. I am not going to complain. I am going to drive it to garage sales this weekend.

Re: Parked on small grade and smoked
As always thanks Brad! And everyone else. the thing is the car didn't smoke today. those scenerios don't match my situation. When it smokes is intermittently and I wouldn't make a big deal about it except when it did it quite a bit of smoke and then smoked only a bit going down the road. durring the...

Re: Parked on small grade and smoked
That sounds cool to me. It has been a strong engine. I think I over think things way to much. But I have to say that puff of smoke was a bit more than what i have experienced in the past. I guess part of the problem is i don't have that great of a place to work on it and many times I feel its not fa...
