If I really crank down (as much as I dare on aluminum threads) the leak slows up to a steady drip instead of a uh... oilfall. That is way too tight. You may want to consider using DOT5 fluid if you are replacing everything. It lasts a really long time compared to regular brake fluid but it doesn't mix. Joel, Harley. Quit using dot. 5.
