Re: Engine rebuild
Mike Levine lives in Georgia and might build one for you? As far as cost you are looking at $5000 or more if you want it done right! The last 140 I rebuilt it was $5000 in parts alone + my labor.

Re: No more Bando 3V560 fan belts???
Bob, I bought every single Bando Power Ace belt I have from Jeff at California Corvairs. In fact every time I make a order with him I have him toss in a fan belt! I have way to many of them! LOL and like Jeff said! His Price is the best deal in town!

Re: Corvair Preservation Proclamation
What in tarnation is going on with all of you? This is the kind of thing that drives people away from the Hobby and CORSA! Its just one more debacle and problem coming from these organizations to further muddy the Corvair Hobby! All this drama and internal political power struggle between everybody...

Re: No more Bando 3V560 fan belts???
I have a stash of the Bando Power Ace belts and they are OK, they are just another wrapped belt, on the street they seem fine but on a race car they fall apart like the other belts. Its most likely the same brand as some of the other wrapped belts with the Bando name on it? I think any of the decent...

The Patented Davemotohead Gas Tank Cleaning Machine!
I made this years ago and it works good! It makes some noise but after a battery pack or 2 the inside of the tanks are spotless! I made 2 videos about this but this is the perfected version, I filled the gas tank with nuts and bolts as the cleaning media! I just watched my own video to reassemble th...

Re: CORSA BOD playing games on the CCF?
Jim, the Kennedy car is from this Presidential election in 2024, Robert F Kennedy Jr is running for President in this upcoming election so it is purely a political post for a candidate for this next election. He is running for the independent party as it says on the banner in the picture.

Re: CORSA BOD playing games on the CCF?
First off I would like to thank you Allan for removing the link to fake Corvair Society of America page that was on the CORSA website that basically said the site was owned by CORSA even though CORSA has no control over it whatsoever. That was smart to distance CORSA from that page. The Political p...

Re: CORSA BOD playing games on the CCF?
People, let's get away from this please, labels and name calling is pointless! I am editing this post because I was informed that the Corvair Society of America page this was posted on is not actually owned or operated by CORSA. Al Lackie did remove the link on the CORSA website to this page. Good d...
