Is there a particular year or model that the Ranger bed rail fits better? How did you find that out?

Re: PICASSO RAMPSIDE STAKE POCKETS
Hi Joe, your pockets seem bigger than mine, even pre restoration. My Rampside is a ‘62. Maybe they’ve changed over the years?

Re: PICASSO RAMPSIDE STAKE POCKETS
ALOHA Thanks but that’s a photo of the air intake louvers. I’m talking about the rectangular holes on top of the bed rails. The holes you’d put a tie down anchor in. You could also put a piece of wood sticking out of the hole about 2ft. It would be a sort of fence post. I’d like to make a panel atta...

PICASSO RAMPSIDE STAKE POCKETS
The bed rail stake pockets were “restored” on my ‘62 Rampside. They now have a certain “Picasso” look to them. Each pocket has its own dimensions. They’re not parallel either. I’ve seen that stake metal is available for other pickups. Does anyone know if there’s a Chevy pickup model that’s compatibl...

Re: FC 2020 Front End
I’ve got some Coker white walls that’ll be mounted on stock wheels. More research will be needed for something that’ll work with stock wheels.

FC 2020 Front End
I had someone “restore” my ‘62 Rampside. In checking the front suspension and steering, I found that what was said and what was done didn’t equal. In checking linkage boots some had absolutely no grease and some actually had dirt pouring out. Many Zerk fittings were clogged too. How does someone re...

IMG_0099.JPG IMG_0100.JPG IMG_0094.JPG IMG_0095.JPG IMG_0096.JPG Yes a picture is worth a thousand words. First 2 photos are ramp in fully closed position. Then unlatched on safety and opened. Is that what the original hinge looks like? Can it be cleaned? Sounds gritty when used. They somehow manag...

Rampside Door NOT Closing Properly
I had a shop restore my Rampside. I’ve noticed that the ramp is so tight at the lower right side that it’s taking paint off the door. Has anyone had this issue? I’m thinking that excess bondo is the issue. It’s probably got to be stripped and redone. Any ideas would be appreciated. Sent from my iPho...

RAMPSIDE STEEL WHEEL HAZARD?
I have a ‘62 Rampside. I was going to have new tires installed on some old steel Rampside wheels I bought. The tire supplier said that the centerbore of the wheel was to large for the wheel mounting hub. That means that the wheel lugs would be supporting the load alone and not sharing it with the hu...

TEMPORARY FC BUCKET SEAT
The seats have recently been reupholstered in my Rampside. I need to get an inexpensive bucket seat that’ll fit into my Rampside while it’s getting more work done. Any ideas for something that’ll go in easily?
