I recently replaced the bushing in my pitman arm. Actually, I replaced the bolt, bushing and sleeve. I'm curious... What actually rotates when the pitman arm moves - (1) the bolt in the bushing or (2) the bushing in the sleeve ?

Re: Aftermarket fuel gauge ?
Why would you want to do this? The factory gauging system is perfectly adequate. A good repro sender and functional gauge is all that is needed, unless of course the wiring has faults, but, any replacement gauge and sender would need to be wired as well. I am moving my 2" AFR, vacuum/pressure ...

Ahh Brad, yes that’s last year’s humor. I was wondering if someone would comment on the orange bottle - again... In case anyone’s interested - it’s Rain-Ex windshield washer liquid...

Re: Nozzle placement for water/meth. Injection
I have Snows Stage 2 injection system. The nozzle is mounted on the outlet from the turbo. It connects to a solenoid anti-siphon valve 1E7B36F3-DADA-43DE-AD96-62EC01223772.jpeg The pump and reservoir are in my trunk 108FF820-D2FB-4038-B5A7-002D89E63A93.jpeg That keeps my injection mix cool. Alec

Re: a question about the black plates
It is possible the owner transferred his registration from an older car to his 65 Corvair. That is a common procedure since it saves you some registration fees when you buy a new car.

Re: '66 Corsa Turbo EDIS Ignition upgrade
Well, I finally got my turbo engine installed back into my Corsa. Today I took it out for it's first road test. I can't believe how well that car is running now !!! I didn't go very far but I did run it at WOT a couple of times and got the boost up. I was trying to log the vacuum/boost/RPM/Timing in...

Re: K&N Filter
I have the Clark's filter. It fits in the stock turbo air cleaner housing. Works well and can be cleaned.I clean it with brake-clean, blow dry it and spray new K&N oil onto it.

Re: K&N Filter
Clark's part #C9529 is basically a K&N filter. I believe that it even comes with a small can of K&N oil for the filter.

'66 Corsa Turbo EDIS Ignition upgrade
I've spent the last couple of months replacing my stock '66 Turbo ignition with a system which will allow me to load custom ignition timing maps. These maps will control the ignition timing based on manifold pressure and RPMs. After looking at a few options for this capability, I ended up installing...

Here is the simplest wiring diagram for a stock setup:

Re: Oil puke out dipstick
I had a similar problem with my ‘66 CORSA although not as bad as you described. After I rebuilt my turbo engine I kept finding oil on the right side shroud and tins. I had no idea where that was coming from. It turned out that the nut and compression fitting which connects the turbo drain tube to th...

Re: Holley 12-804 Regulator ?
Joel, Thanks for your reply. I posted the same info on the other forum and got a lot more responses and comments. Your suggestion mirrors what others said - the spring is too stiff and probably is for the 12-803 not the 804. Except for the spring, the 803 and 804 are identical regulators. Rather the...
