Re: Ice Chest Question
I've actually done that in my drinking days with a Harley Davidson fiberglass saddlebag. But it melts fast in the summer.

Re: Engine Stand, easy question to answer
Dennis, I agree 100%. But. Now my friends call me a snob. But Corvairs are supposed to be fun . I mean we're like 55 years after the fact. So, fun, right? I don't want my stand to be adequate, either. I want it to be right. ....and when I put a snap-on in my hand it just feels right! I don't own any...

Re: Engine Stand, easy question to answer
I don't really know where it's made but I'm guessing it's USA Made. Even if it isn't it's way over buildt for my intentions. Sp, I'll paint it and call it good.

Re: Melting wires, simple question
It's all very interesting. I got the ignition from Raffy a few years back. I'm thinking it was a Stinger. Since instructions said run a 3ohm coil, that's what I feel like I should do. But the 1 Ohm coil is the one that came with it. If it's wrong........?

Re: Melting wires, simple question
I think it's worth mentioning that the plugs came out a little kean. I prefer a more rich condition. I tried to richen the carbs a little with the air mixure screws but the car ran bad so I returned it to a better idle. It may also be worth mentioning that the car has four primary carbs.
