Re: LM Corvair Finish Emulating a 1969 Yenko Camaro
Here's a pic of one I found online. It's too bad this corvair doesn't have the rear engine lid with the incorporated spoiler, so that the stripe could turn up at the end more, like the camaro's. I think that's a cool little added flair. Yenko Corvair 2.jpg yenko corvair 3.jpg yenko corvair spoiler.j...

Maybe take a look and see if it is contacting and has rubbed through on the positive starter cable's insulation.

Re: Ridge Reamer
Exactly, no need to. What looks like a ridge is probably just carbon anyway. Did the rings seize up in the piston grooves from hard carbon or installed incorrectly?

Boy, I've never seen one of those before, but it sure looks like an adapter to fit an EGR valve, an aftermarket EGR valve since corvairs never came with one from the factory.

Can't say if it's snake oil, but it would probably do a little bit to.

That's from years of water leaking in from the rust holes at the base of the windshield and soaking the carpet. I don't see too many other bubbles of rust on the rest of the car, like the rockers look pretty amazing! That's a lot of floor rust for a car in Cali.
