So, as I was inspecting my "Corvy" I found these two brackets(that are both broken) on my front end suspension. I was looking at my manuals and could not find them. The brackets seem better suited to hold up something on a static base, like my house wall and I am not sure of their purpose....

What is better to have for an engine removal/install-- a hydraulic floor jack or transmission jack?

I was able to get the races out using a punch and a small sledge hammer.
I did get a couple of nicks on the sleeve where the races sit. Is there any
recommendations on those? Do they need to be sanded down? When the
New rasces go in would you just use a socket to tap them down? Thanks

it up and am on hold.

radiator shop's quote 150. I will end up buying a new one as I get closer to the install.

Spoke to a local radiator shop. They do repairs on gas tanks. I will take in later this week and get a quote. Clark's has a new one for 190's +shipping. Ebay is at 170ish, shipping included.

There is a dent by the fuel sending unit. It looks like it has been repaired.

I bought a 63 amp alternator to swap out front housings.. I fear
my little pancake compressor of 1 scfm at 40 psi has not been
enough. Does the pulley bolt turn counterclockwise and do I hold
the fan blades? Thanks

bug I am unable to get the races off the 76 colt hubs. Should I reuse
them?

Thanks, I am also in the process of changing 62 Monza brakes to Disc. I am cleaning out the 76 Colt hubs and am looking for a grease recommendation. I am thinking Mobil 1 synthetic grease.

Had cleaned these with purple power but they got wet with recent rain. Should i get them into wd40?
