Re: yenko stinger on ebay
I don't really follow ebay auctions myself, but sometimes I like to hop on the site and look at what's on there just for fun.

Re: Forza Motosport 4
I just beefed it up as far as I could get it. R3 class I believe with over 800 horsepower...acceleration is so high that I can jump it up to 6th gear in like 8 seconds on a straight shot.

Forza Motosport 4
so I got a new game today, Forza Motorsport 4 for the xbox 360, excited to play a racing game as I haven't been able to in a long time and I use to love this game when I played it at my cousin's apartment. so, I'm playing it, and I think "You know...I HIGHLY doubt it but...will it have one?&quo...

Re: removing old primer
thanks for the info I'll have to try the PPG DX 330 method. The razor blade causes minor damage to the gold paint underneath if I go slowly (half of the rear hood took about 2 hours), but after washing, waxing, and buffing it it looks pretty good. still not something I'd like to do, not due to the t...

removing old primer
alright so here's my current situation. my 1967 corvair, originally Granada Gold, had red primer put on sometime before we bought it (not sure how long), and now it's flaking off most of the mod (the top and hoods mostly). the paint underneath is in great shape, so I've been trying to find a way to ...

Re: My 61 700 Coupe
that car is beautiful! it looks like the body is in great shape, which is good because from what little experience I have so far it seems that the body is one of the more expensive things to fix up (getting new panels and everything, which I'll wind up having to do on my '67 monza one day since it h...

1967 monza project
alright so, this is my first corvair, probably not my last, but definitely my favorite car atm. here are some pics I took last year of it. 149724_428923357178863_952293391_n.jpg 156098_428923413845524_2047303641_n.jpg 603314_428923387178860_1910767360_n.jpg the original color was Granada Gold (I bel...

Re: new guy
yes thanks for the info on the braking system. I know it does stop (I believe when he got it a couple years ago my grandpa did drive it around the yard a bit and such to see how it ran) but he said the brakes had to be replaces for sure. I did find a cable in the hood but sadly it was an ebrake cabl...

Re: new guy
thanks you two. and you know it! the like 3 guys at work who know what a Corvair is (although I do work in retail) tell me many cool things about the car. sadly my first "driveable car" may not be the corvair, as it's winter and would be hard to restore it when it's about 0 degrees, despit...

hello all. I am 19 and new to the forums, and to Corvairs...well cars in general. 19, my first car is a Corvair! well once I fix it up anyways. I can't quite describe it, I've found a love of classic cars thanks to the Corvair, although the one I have just has a special feeling when I sit in it. and...
