Re: My First Helen Springfest Adventure is over...

Did you take apart your failed fuel pump? Just curious if it was internal failure or vapor lock...

Glad for your good report. An adventure for sure!

:Love it:

Re: Lakewood vs Wagon interchangeability

I will add to what Tom said. The biggest thing is the master cylinder setup. 61s have the under dash setup shared with 60s and the 62s have the later style. The rear engine covers are the same sizes but 62 dropped the cool check pattern that 61s have. Any pictures of this cool check pattern? I neve...

Jim B.: Just click on " Portal " and the format is similar to CCF. At least that's what I do. What I really like is clicking on the little red arrow (pointing NE) on the far right of each post. This takes you to the last unread post for that topic; saves scrolling and re-reading. Welcome T...

Re: Frunk water issue

Very likely it is in the cowl area. The factory seam sealer hardens and breaks, allowing water to drip both into the trunk and inside the car above your feet. Remove your wipers and the cowl grille. Get a helper and put the car in a very dark area. Use a bright flashlight to shine from outside in an...

We have a three post rule. You cannot access private messages until you have posted three times. It's to keep any spammers from private messaging you. If you need I can override it. Just message me. I am wondering if there is a glitch in the system. I have 30 posts since 2010, when I joined. I used...

Good to know. I wouldn't want to toss a rusty hatch with the glass still good!

Re: Corsa Forum locked out

I followed the suggested procedure when I couldn't sign in. I was unable to delete JUST the cookies for CCF, and subsequently deleted the last 30 days worth. Unfortunately, this signed me out of quite a few sites. I had difficulty remembering the usernames besides the various passwords. Google has t...

Re: What’s inside the tank?

Back in the late 60's, Sohio (Standard Oil of Ohio) used to put blue dye in their gas. I am sure other companies did too. It didn't do the carburetors any good....

Re: We TRIED to Help CORSA Fix the Serious Issues with The Corvair Center Forum – Read Our Letter and Their Response HER

As B.o.D. elections approach, please take a few moments to read the minutes of Directors Meetings, and vote out those members who have refused to reinstate Andria Raines, and behaved in other unseemly ways. And who ARE those members who voted that way? I have been trying to find out without success...

Re: What’s inside the tank?

How much rust is a signal for re-coating? I am asking because I got a used tank for my '46 Nash that had light rust inside. I ran some gas in it, shook it around, and dumped it out a couple times. Haven't tried to refill it and start it yet, but it was a real challenge installing the tank...

Re: We TRIED to Help CORSA Fix the Serious Issues with The Corvair Center Forum – Read Our Letter and Their Response HER

Attempting to send requested information through e-mail Got it. Thanks. Read it. Was appalled by CORSA BOD's attitude and replies. Question: Any way to find out who specifically voted against your reinstatement? For the time being, I am still a member of CORSA. I will be voting, but would like to d...
