Re: 1966 140 secondary carb linkage
Hi All I have had the rod arm slip a couple times and what I found was the clamps were not tightened enough. Maybe I need to change steel alloys. Out of 800 linkage kits I have made I have only had 7 reports of slipping clamps. Aside from welding or Knurling any ideas on how to stop this. Both of th...

Re: 1966 140 secondary carb linkage
Hi Duke You have a mix of my Full Bearing linkage for the primary's and then the stock-ish looking linkage for the secondary's. That is an older linage kit. I stop using Hex rod for the down rods eight years ago. Yes the springs and tubes are for the secondary choke lock outs but your choke lock out...

Can you flat tow a manusl trans Corvair
Hi
I am going to be doing some rather long distance traveling in the near future and need to know if you can flat tow, all four wheels on the road, my 64 Corvair behind my RV? It is a manual trans. 200-300 miles at a time.
Thanks

Absolutely no replies at all. So this design goes to the same place as my Holly 390 center mount linkage went. All back of the bus.

1966 Full Bearing Secondary prototype done. Need your help.
Hello to all and Happy New Year. Good news the 1966 Secondary with full Bearing Support is finished. Well the prototype is anyway. See attached pictures. To save on costs I used the 1965 Bell Crank support mount. This in effect moves the bell crank pivot point a little further away from the primary,...

Re: Bearing Turbo adjustable link
Thanks for putting in the picture.
Believe it or not I got everything on eBay. But I but in qty, 25 pieces and up. You can get all the hardware at a good hardware store. You don't need to use Stainless Steel. Get the Heim joints from any good off road house.
