fuel

First time owning a car from the 60s in a long time. Do I need to add anything to pump fuel such as lead for a 67 corvair?

A number of improvements were made in 1967. Just from my memory - a new collapsible steering column was in place (note the brake/clutch pedal brackets were different). Unlike 64-66 models, the 67 used the standard Chevy steering wheel splines so after market steering wheels are easier to fit. Yup, ...

Enjoy your 67. The 67 production numbers were less than 65-66 and you don't seem that many now. A number of improvements were made in 1967. Welcome HockeyHouse10! Those old magazine article are fun to read, I have several vintage issues. Congrats on your Corvair, I also have a '67, a Monza coupe. She's my first car, I bought in 1980. I am new to your site and like it already. Just bought my first corvair 67 Monza 4 speed convertible. Look forward to the advice given here. The article posted is comparison from 65 between the Corvair,Mustang and Cuda.
